The South-North Water Transfer Bridge on the Wuzhi-Yunyang Expressway crosses the trunk canal of the central line in the south-east side of the Zhongzhou Aluminum Plant. The angle of the bridge and the main canal axis is 64 degrees. It is the first high tower cable-stayed bridge of expressway in Henan Province. The bridge span is arranged as (175 + 93 + 49)m, and the main span is a single-tower single cable stayed bridge with 175m long. The project was completed on November 26, 2016.

The bridge adopted the construction method of "Side span beams under supporting construction, main span beams under cantilever concreting construction with hanging basket, synchronous construction of tower and beams". In view of challenges from crossing the trunk canal, the enclosed basket system with functions of "anti-fall, impermeable, rain and sewage collection, concrete thermal insulation" was developed, the sewage can be purified, the waste can be harmless treated and zero-pollution can be achieved during construction.
