The reconstruction and expansion of Luohe-Zhumadian section of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway starts from Zhengzhou to the end of Luohe reconstruction and expansion project in the north. It passes through 5 counties and 15 townships, including Zhaoling district, Xiping County, Shangcai County, Suiping County and Yicheng district of Luohe and Zhumadian, and crosses provincial highway 331, 206 and 333 and main flood diversion channels of mud river, Honghe River, Xiannuchi River, Kongqiao River, Kuiwang River, Ruhe River and Ruhe spillway. The end is located 1.7 km north of Zhumadian south toll station, connecting with Zhumadian Xinyang section. The total length of the route is 63.494 km, including 2.7 km in Luohe and 60.8 km in Zhumadian, covering a total area of 1527.04 acreage.

On the basis of the previous pavement inspection, in July 2013, a detailed supplementary inspection was conducted on the east half of the existing maintenance stake k860 + 000 ~ k867 + 000 of Luohe-Zhumadian section of Beijing Hong Kong Macao expressway.
