Jiyuan section of Jiyuan-Yangcheng expressway is located in Jiyuan City, Henan Province. It is one of the expressway connecting Henan and Shanxi. The project starts from near Niujiaodong at the junction of Shanxi and Henan, passes Jiaoshuping, Yingpan, Taoyuanling, Magouling, Laolishuyao, Wulongchi, Mataping West, Liucungou and Donggou to the south, and ends at Changzhi-Jiyuan expressway near Miaoqian, with a total length of 19.82km (average left and right). The whole line (recommended line) is designed with 1 grand bridge(1144m), 9 bridges (2651.42m) (including the main line bridge of interchange), 7 tunnels (11985m), 2 interchanges, 3 passages, 9 culverts, 1 main line toll station, 1 ramp toll station, 1 monitoring center, 1 tunnel management office and 1 maintenance workshop.

　　The standard of four-lane expressway is adopted for this project, with subgrade width of 24.5m, separated subgrade of 2 × 12.25m and design speed of 80km/h. The cost is 2.985 billion CNY.
