Recently, the People's Government of Henan Province issued the "Decision on the 4th Henan Provincial Patent Award" (YZ [2024] No. 11). The company's invention patent "An industrial waste soil solidifier and its preparation method and construction method (patent number: ZL202010596995.8)" won the second prize of the fourth Henan Provincial Patent Award. The Henan Provincial Patent Award is established by the provincial government and is evaluated every two years, with the aim of rewarding invention patents, utility model patents, and design patents that have made outstanding contributions to promoting economic and social development in the province.

　　In recent years, in response to the harmless treatment of industrial solid wastes such as red mud, carbide slag, and industrial by-product gypsum, which have large stocks and large increases, the Engineering Technology Research Institute has relied on provincial and ministerial research and development platforms such as the "Henan Province Solid Waste Material Road Engineering Recycling Key Laboratory" to continuously carry out research and application of industrial waste slag composite cementitious materials for road use, and developed four major types of industrial waste slag soil improvement and solidification materials to replace cement and lime for roadbed ash treatment, expansive soil and other special soil improvements. The research results have been included in the Henan Provincial Transportation Science and Technology Achievements Promotion and Application Catalog, more than 10 patents have been authorized, and 1 Henan Provincial Local Standard has been compiled.

　　To accelerate the transformation and application of research and development results, the Engineering Technology Research Institute has established a professional team to carry out the transformation and application of results based on the "Henan Provincial Transportation Science and Technology Achievements Transformation and Promotion Service Center" approved by the provincial department, and jointly established 7 production transformation bases in Jiaozuo, Pingdingshan and other places. Combined with the "13445 Project" of expressways and national and provincial trunk road construction projects, large-scale applications have been achieved in projects such as the Shangcai-Luoshan section of Anyang-Luoshan Expressway, the Luoshan to Henan-Hubei provincial boundary section of Anyang-Luoshan Expressway, the Shenqiu-Anhui section of Yangxin Expressway, Fengqiu-Yuanyang Expressway, Xuchang-Xinyang Expressway, S312 Zhengzhou reconstruction project, and the Yellow River Expressway. Up to now, the cumulative usage has reached nearly 100,000 tons.
