Since 2015

The total length of the implemented section is about 30km, which is divided into two sections. The first section starts from Mengmo Village (near Mengmo contact point), and ends at Huilong river mouth, about 25km long; the second section starts near the existing pier of Banxiangguo and ends at Banxiangguo contact point, which is about 5km long. The highway was built in accordance with Laos’s class IV (equivalent to China's class III) highway, with design speed of 40km/h and subgrade width of 7.0m. Supervision of the survey and design of the China-aided project was undertaken according to the requirements of the Ministry of Commerce of China.
